The best material is the one that meets your needs, budget, and environment.

PLA

Models and presentations

Easy to print, beautiful surface, good details, suitable for architectural models, decorations, and visual prototypes. Not suitable for high heat

PETG

General use pieces

Tougher than PLA, resistant to moisture and some chemicals, suitable for housing, brackets, and workpieces that require durability.

TPU

Flexible work

Flexible synthetic rubber suitable for seals, grommets, casings, cushioning, and parts subject to bending.

ABS / ASA

Heat resistant and outside work

ABS is suitable for engineering parts and is heat resistant, while ASA increases UV resistance for outdoor applications.

PA / NYLON

Work that receives force and friction

Tough, resistant to fatigue and abrasion, suitable for gears, bushings, hinges, and mechanical parts that are actually used.

PC

Strong work and heat resistant

Strong, able to withstand impact and high temperatures, suitable for housing and engineering parts.

CF / GF

Hard work, light weight

Carbon Fiber or Glass Fiber reinforced materials reduce deflection and increase stiffness, suitable for jigs, fixtures and machine parts.
